Super Xevious: Gump no Nazo

The screen scrolls vertically while the Solvalou moves freely within the play area. Aerial enemies must be hit with the forward shot, while ground targets are marked on the terrain and attacked with bombs. The player must also avoid enemy fire, terrain hazards, and collisions. Progression is built around separate areas and hidden conditions. Certain events, targets, or actions determine how the route develops, so repeating an area can reveal a different result. The game is primarily a one-player score-attack experience, with no documented simultaneous multiplayer mode or password save system.

Keep the Solvalou moving in small horizontal adjustments instead of holding one position, because aerial formations and ground fire can overlap. Use the aerial shot on flying enemies and place bombs on ground targets before they fire. Because progression depends on hidden conditions, record which targets and events occur in each area. When a route appears to stop or repeat, replay the preceding area and test different target priorities rather than treating the result as a conventional game over.
