Strider

This is a side-scrolling action platformer built around fast movement, wall climbing, and sword combat. Hiryu can run, jump, cling to walls and ceilings, and attack with the Cypher. Levels mix enemy encounters, moving platforms, traps, and large boss fights, with progression driven by stage completion and checkpoint-based retries. The game rewards momentum, precise jumps, and efficient crowd control.

The protagonist, a young elite agent of the Strider organization, skilled in acrobatic movement and Cypher sword combat.

Learn wall jumps early, since they are essential for both navigation and survival. Use short, aggressive attacks against regular enemies and avoid getting trapped on narrow platforms. Against bosses, watch for clear attack patterns and look for brief openings rather than forcing damage. In difficult sections, slowing down is often safer than rushing.
