Zillion

The game combines side-scrolling action with room-by-room fortress exploration. You move through interconnected areas, shoot enemies with a laser pistol, collect keys and items, and search for missing teammates. The weapon uses limited energy, so shots must be managed carefully. Progress is saved with passwords, and advancement often depends on memorizing the layout, clearing dangerous corridors, and returning to previously blocked areas once you have the right items.

Conserve laser energy and avoid firing at every enemy unless it opens a safe path. Learn the fortress layout and enemy positions so you can reduce backtracking mistakes. When you obtain a key or important item, revisit locked routes immediately to keep momentum. In narrow spaces, clear threats first before advancing deeper into the base.

Progress can be continued with a password system.
