Shinobi

The game uses a side-scrolling stage structure where the player runs, jumps, climbs, and fights through waves of enemies. Joe Musashi can attack at range with shuriken or finish foes up close with his sword. Ninjutsu techniques can be triggered under the right conditions to clear enemies or strengthen survival during difficult sections. The adventure is divided into five missions with distinct pacing and occasional gameplay variation, ending each stage with a boss encounter.

Keep moving and avoid lingering on one platform for too long, since enemy fire and melee threats can stack up quickly. Use shuriken to handle distant enemies and save the sword for close-range threats. Ninjutsu is best reserved for crowded rooms or boss fights rather than routine encounters. In platform-heavy sections, watch spawn points before advancing to reduce surprise attacks.
