Progress is structured as a sequence of events, with better finishes leading to more upgrade money and a stronger truck.

Invest early in turbo and tires for the biggest performance gain. On tight corners, ease off the throttle briefly instead of holding speed through every turn; it helps prevent understeer and spins. Save boost for straights and corner exits, where acceleration converts most efficiently into position gains. In multiplayer, take the inside line and use contact to force rivals wide without sacrificing your own momentum.
