Knights of the Round

This side-scrolling action game sends players through a series of stages filled with enemies and boss fights. Each of the three heroes plays differently in speed, power, and reach, and combat focuses on melee strings, jumping attacks, guard timing, and positional control. Characters gain experience and level up during play, improving offense and defense. Some stages add horseback combat or one-on-one knight duels, making spacing and enemy pattern recognition important for survival.

King Arthur

The balanced lead knight, offering dependable attack and defense for new players.

Lancelot

The fastest character, suited to quick pressure and hit-and-run play.

Percival

The strongest character, trading speed for heavy damage and reach.

Garibaldi

The main antagonist who commands the enemy forces and opposes the Grail quest.

Build experience early so your attacks and durability improve before the later stages. Use jump-ins and movement to avoid being surrounded, then punish openings with short combo strings. Against bosses, watch for charge and wide-swing telegraphs, and retreat instead of trading damage. Percival is strong for direct brawling, while Lancelot is easier for safer control.

Tips and tricks

• Leveling up early makes the rest of the run much easier.
• Clear ranged enemies first whenever possible.
• In mounted segments, keep spacing under control and avoid reckless aggression.
