Worms

The game is presented in a side-view 2D battlefield where each team takes turns controlling one worm at a time under a move timer. Players can walk, jump, use ropes or parachutes, and attack with a large arsenal that includes firearms, grenades, rockets, mines, and special weapons. Explosions deform the terrain, creating new paths, cover, and hazards. Matches usually end when one team is eliminated, while some modes also feature shrinking boundaries and time pressure.

Try to secure high ground while keeping your worms spread out so one blast cannot wipe out the team. Pay attention to wind and weapon trajectory, especially when using grenades and rockets. Save powerful weapons for clustered enemies or finishing blows, and use ropes, digging, and terrain changes to create future advantages rather than only chasing immediate damage.
