Pokémon LeafGreen

You travel across Kanto as a rookie trainer, choosing a starter Pokémon and building a team through captures, evolution, trading, and move management. Battles use turn-based command menus with type matchups, status effects, and speed order playing major roles. Progress is driven by earning Gym Badges, defeating the Elite Four, and unlocking the Sevii Islands after the main story.

After the main story, return stronger for the Sevii Islands content, where higher-level opponents can punish underprepared teams.
