Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations

The game progresses through chapter-based cases split between investigation and trial segments. During investigations, players click around locations, examine objects, talk to characters, and collect evidence. In court, you use commands such as Press and Present to expose contradictions in testimony and push the case forward. Some cases add Psyche-Lock style mechanics, logic chains, or special interactions, requiring careful comparison of statements, timelines, and evidence to solve each mystery.

Phoenix Wright

The main defense attorney who fights for his clients with sharp instincts and determination.

Miles Edgeworth

A brilliant prosecutor and one of Phoenix’s most notable courtroom rivals.

Mia Fey

Phoenix’s mentor, whose past is central to the game’s story.

Maya Fey

A spirit medium who assists Phoenix during investigations and trials.

Franziska von Karma

A strict prosecutor known for her aggressive trial tactics.

Read every testimony carefully before presenting evidence. Look for contradictions in timing, location, and physical details, since those usually reveal the correct point to press. In investigations, exhaust all dialogue options and re-check scenes after gaining new evidence. When stuck, revisit recent testimony and compare it against the latest facts rather than forcing a random objection.

Tips and tricks

• Review all evidence after each investigation phase so the timeline stays clear.
• If a testimony feels impossible to break, press every statement before trying to present an item.
• Talk to every character until no new dialogue appears; important clues often hide there.
