Contra: Legacy of War

Learn the timing of rolls and lateral movement early, since enemies can attack from off-screen angles. When swarmed, clear space first and then focus on tougher targets. In boss fights, keep moving and look for openings rather than standing still to trade shots. Save stronger weapons for difficult stages whenever possible.
