Starting an arcade game on ClassicEmu

Insert a credit, then press Start

Many arcade games use separate Coin and Start actions. Check the displayed controls, add a credit, then press the player start button. The title screen alone does not mean that the controls have stopped working.

Choose the correct release

An arcade release and a console conversion may use different controls, rules and save states. Use the platform label to identify the edition, and return to the same entry when continuing a saved session.

Keep error details when a title fails

Arcade releases may need related game data in addition to the main file. If the player reports a missing or incompatible file, send the error through the game report control. Repeatedly refreshing the page will not repair missing data.
