Sonic Rush

The game is built around 2D side-scrolling stages where players run, jump, stomp enemies, and maintain momentum through loops, ramps, and vertical paths. Sonic and Blaze have distinct abilities: Sonic uses an air dash, while Blaze attacks with a fiery spin. Collecting rings protects the player, and building the Tension Gauge allows use of the Boost move to break through enemies and terrain at high speed. Each zone usually includes two acts and a boss fight, with special stages used to collect Chaos Emeralds or Sol Emeralds and unlock the final story content.

Learn when to save your Boost instead of using it immediately; it is strongest on long straight sections with enemies or when blasting through dangerous terrain quickly. Boss fights reward pattern recognition more than reckless speed. In special stages, small early corrections are safer than sharp late turns. For better stage ranks, balance clear time with ring collection and avoid unnecessary hits or falls.

Tips and tricks
