Players pilot a fighter through alternating side-scrolling and vertical-scrolling stages, battling swarms of enemies and large bosses with lasers, missiles, and options. Defeated enemies drop power capsules that fill a fixed power meter, letting you upgrade speed, weapons, and shields in sequence. Stage layouts shift between open space, narrow corridors, and obstacle-heavy sections, so success depends on shooting, positioning, and careful power management.

Prioritize ship speed and a reliable basic weapon before investing heavily in riskier upgrades. Learn enemy spawn points and terrain edges so you can position early and avoid being boxed in. Against bosses, keep steady fire on weak points and leave one or two power levels in reserve to recover from mistakes more safely.

Tips and tricks

• In vertical stages, stay slightly above the lower half of the screen so you can react to incoming fire and obstacles.
• Avoid grabbing capsules too quickly; secure enough speed first, then build offense and defense.
• In co-op, one player can focus on crowd control while the other concentrates on boss weak points.
