Puyo Puyo

The game is played on a vertical playfield as pairs of Puyos fall from above. Players move them left and right and rotate the pair to build groups of four or more of the same color for clearing. When blocks vanish, the pieces above fall, potentially creating chain reactions. In story mode, you face a sequence of opponents with distinct pacing and attack patterns. If your stack reaches the top, the round is lost.

Build a main tower on one side and keep the other side relatively clean for setup and recovery. Avoid clearing every small cluster immediately; saving a trigger point is usually more valuable. Against tougher opponents, focus on maintaining a low stack and using reliable two- to four-step chains rather than forcing huge combos. Watch for incoming nuisance pieces and leave emergency space near the top.

No reliable universal cheats are confirmed. In single-player story mode, progression is based on defeating opponents in order.

• Keep the center of the field tidy to reduce misdrops and panic clears.
• Small, repeatable chains are often more practical than long, risky setups.
• Study opponent timing so you can leave room for incoming nuisance pieces.
