Each stage is a maze-like area where the player moves through interconnected corridors, searching for a key before reaching the exit door. Combat is centered on a revolver with very limited bullets at the start, while extra health and ammo appear randomly within the maze. Players must decide when to fight and when to avoid enemies, because wasting resources can make later stages much harder. Clear speed also affects progression and ending path.
