Vertical Force

The game plays as a vertical shooter in which the player pilots a fighter through looping, cylindrical stages. Movement, shooting, and switching between high and low altitude planes are the main controls. Enemies and hazards can appear on different layers, so players must read the battlefield carefully and attack targets on the correct plane. Progress is stage-based, with increasing enemy pressure and boss encounters as the game advances.

Learn when to switch between altitude planes, since many enemies can only be hit on one layer. Stay mobile and avoid sitting still in the center of enemy fire. Clearing threats ahead of time helps reduce crossfire in later sections, and memorizing stage patterns goes a long way toward surviving the tougher waves.
