Sonic Colors

This is a stage-based side-scrolling platformer built around speed, jumping, and momentum. Players control Sonic through routes filled with springs, rails, enemies, and hazards while collecting rings and Red Star Rings. The DS version uses 2D platforming stages with branching paths and a strong emphasis on timing. Wisps provide temporary abilities such as drilling, dashing, or changing traversal options, and mastering their activation is essential for hidden areas and efficient clears.

When a route looks suspiciously narrow or vertical, test whether a Wisp can reveal extra rewards.
