Sonic Advance

The game uses a side-scrolling view and lets players choose from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, or Amy. Each character has unique movement abilities: Sonic focuses on speed, Tails can briefly fly, Knuckles can glide and climb walls, and Amy attacks with her hammer. Learn each character's movement traits, since many secrets and alternate routes depend on wall climbing, flying, or gliding. Keep some rings at all times to avoid losing momentum after taking damage, and watch the terrain ahead during high-speed sections so you can react to springs and traps. When a stage branches, try the upper route first, as it often contains more rings and safer rewards.
