The game uses a top-down hockey view where players skate, pass, shoot, and body-check with straightforward joystick-and-button controls. Matches are score-based and fast, rewarding quick steals and immediate counterattacks. Shot timing and angle matter, especially near the crease where rebounds can turn into easy goals. On defense, positioning and well-timed hits are key to breaking offensive momentum. Some cabinets support competitive two-player play.

Avoid relying only on long shots. Carry the puck toward the sides of the goal and look for close-range angles for better scoring chances. On defense, stay tight on the puck carrier and use checks to force mistakes. If possession is lost, recover to the center lane quickly to stop breakaways. In versus play, lateral passing is often more effective than skating straight into traffic.

Tips and tricks

• Shots from just off the front side of the net are usually more reliable than long-distance attempts.
• Body checks are powerful, but overcommitting can leave the middle wide open.
• After a steal, look for a pass first instead of forcing a solo rush.
