The game uses a horizontal scrolling perspective. Players control the R-9 fighter through stages filled with mechanical and bio-organic enemies, terrain hazards, and large bosses. Its signature Force pod can be attached to the ship as a shield or detached to attack independently. Collecting P icons changes the primary shot type, and charging the weapon unleashes the powerful Wave Cannon. Progress depends on learning stage layouts, enemy patterns, and safe attack windows.

Learn each stage’s terrain and enemy spawns first; many deaths come from collisions rather than bullets. Try to preserve a consistent weapon type instead of changing it too often, so your damage pattern stays reliable. Against bosses, watch for destructible parts and attack cycles before committing to close-range damage.
