Upgrade drill speed and power early, since both traversal and combat become easier with stronger drill performance. Many obstacles require changing drill direction at the right moment, so practice switching between forward and reverse drills smoothly. Search for breakable walls and off-path rooms, as chip upgrades and optional items are often hidden there. In tougher fights, use platforms and terrain edges to create safer angles of attack instead of rushing straight in.
