Vigilante

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective with limited movement depth, letting the player punch, kick, and occasionally use dropped weapons such as nunchaku. Stages scroll through city streets and gang territory, ending in boss encounters. Success depends on spacing, timing attacks before enemies crowd in, and carefully advancing the screen so multiple threats do not overwhelm the player at once.

Learn enemy approach patterns and fight from the edge of your attack range whenever possible. Avoid rushing forward, since screen advancement can trigger more enemies at once. Save strong weapon opportunities for dense enemy waves or boss fights. Against jump-in or armed enemies, attack once or twice, then reposition instead of overcommitting.

• Mid-range spacing is safer than fighting point-blank.
