Puyo Puyo! - Puyopuyo 15th Anniversary

The game uses a vertical falling-block puzzle field where paired Puyos are positioned in a six-column play area. Matching four or more of the same color clears them, and carefully arranged clears create chains that send nuisance Puyos to the opponent. Multiple historical rule sets and Fever mode are included, so play ranges from casual single-player practice to faster competitive battles. The DS version supports button input and touch control, with local wireless multiplayer available in supported modes.

Build your stack with future chains in mind instead of clearing every immediate match. Keep the center or one side organized for chain links, and leave breathing room near the top. In versus play, focus on staying stable until your opponent overcommits, then release a larger chain to punish them. In Fever mode, learn the preset solutions so you can maximize damage before the timer expires.

Additional rules, character dialogue, and challenge content are unlocked by progressing through modes and completing in-game objectives.

Tips and tricks

• Learn simple 1-chain to 3-chain setups before attempting advanced routes.
• Keep the left and right edges usable so you can adjust placements easily.
• Touch controls are fine for casual play, but buttons are usually more reliable in fast matches.
