The game uses side-scrolling beat 'em up gameplay: players choose from multiple Three Kingdoms warriors and fight through stages filled with soldiers, mini-bosses, and bosses. Learn each character's attack range and magic cost so you can save stronger tools for boss fights. Against regular enemies, use wide attacks and movement to avoid being surrounded. Branching stages can lead to different enemies and resources, so take safer paths on a first playthrough. In co-op, split roles between crowd control and boss pressure to keep the field manageable.

Tips and tricks

• Pick up stage weapons and items whenever possible, since temporary upgrades can make difficult sections much easier.
• Do not tunnel on combos when surrounded; positioning matters more than damage in crowded fights.
• Save at least one strong magic attack for boss phases instead of spending everything early.
