Tyris is excellent for beginners because her magic can erase dangerous waves; save it for dense encounters or bosses. Ax is the most balanced choice, while Gilius rewards confident close-range play. Always chase the blue thieves that carry magic pots, especially during the camp intermissions. If you get a beast, use its special attack to control groups safely.
