The game is a side-scrolling brawler built around stage-by-stage progression. One or two players choose a detective and move through city locations such as streets, bars, and waterfront areas, defeating waves of enemies before advancing. Core actions include attacking, jumping, grabbing, throwing, and using jump attacks. Environmental objects and dropped weapons can be picked up and used in combat. Boss fights appear at the end of stages, and success depends on spacing, crowd control, and efficient use of throws.

Rick

One of the two playable detectives, a close-range fighter investigating the kidnapping case.

Allen

The other playable detective who teams up with Rick to battle through the criminal underworld.

Try to keep enemies on one side of the screen instead of charging into the middle of a crowd. Grabs and throws are very useful because they create space and can hit multiple opponents at once. Against armed enemies, bait an attack first, then move in and take the weapon. In co-op, avoid overlapping too closely so both players can cover different angles. During boss fights, wait for committed attacks, punish during recovery, and avoid trading blows at close range.
