The game uses a third-person behind-the-character perspective. Players move the hero across the screen with the directional controls, dodging projectiles, enemies, and obstacles while firing continuously with the attack button. Stages scroll forward automatically, with enemy waves approaching from the distance and the sides. Many levels end with large bosses, and progress depends on memorizing spawn patterns, safe lanes, and attack timing.

Harrier

The player's hero, a jet-propelled warrior who flies through the Fantasy Zone and destroys waves of bizarre creatures and machines.

Stay near the lower middle of the screen when possible so you can react to incoming enemies from both sides. Use small, deliberate movements instead of sweeping left and right, since sudden obstacles can appear quickly. During boss fights, focus on survival first and fire whenever there is a clear lane. Memorizing stage layouts and enemy entries is essential for consistent progress.
