Players choose a wrestler and fight through singles bouts using punches, kicks, grapples, Irish-whip style movement, rope rebounds, and pin attempts. Positioning near the ropes and corners matters, and each wrestler has different reach, speed, and throwing power. Progress comes from winning consecutive matches while managing momentum, spacing, and wake-up pressure against tougher opponents.

Learn your wrestler's safest strikes and grapple range first. Instead of constantly going for grabs, use quick hits to force hesitation and then secure a throw. Apply pressure when the opponent rises, but be ready for reversals. Against heavy characters, use mobility and rope spacing to attack first; against faster characters, avoid whiffing and punish their approach with stronger throws once they overcommit.
