Renegade

The game uses a side-scrolling view as the player advances through alleys, stations, and gang hideouts. The hero can punch, kick, jump-kick, grapple, and throw enemies, while some stages provide melee weapons. Enemies attack from both sides, so positioning and timing are essential. Each stage builds toward tougher multi-enemy encounters and boss fights, and survival depends on managing spacing, using throws effectively, and avoiding being surrounded.

• Try to pin enemies near the edge of the screen to reduce flanking pressure.
• Take out weapon carriers first whenever possible.
• Jump-kicks are strong for advancing, but watch the landing lag.
