Rastan Saga II

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective focused on movement, jumping, sword attacks, and careful evasion. Players clear linear stages packed with pits, spikes, hazards, regular enemies, and boss encounters. Combat is mainly melee-based, so spacing and timing matter as much as reflexes. Progress depends on learning trap placement, enemy patterns, and surviving with limited continues in true arcade fashion.

Learn enemy attack rhythms and avoid rushing blindly into each screen. On platforming sections, prioritize safe landings before attacking nearby threats. Bosses are usually easier when you bait an attack and punish recovery frames rather than trading hits. If lives are scarce, memorize hazard layouts and enemy spawn points to build a more reliable route through each stage.

• Check the edge of the screen before committing to long jumps.
• Maintain mid-range against large enemies so their attack startup is easier to read.
• Memorizing trap and enemy order makes repeated failures much easier to overcome.
