The game uses a side-scrolling platform format. At the start of a life or certain stages, you can choose Ren or Stimpy. Both characters can jump and attack; Ren fires toothbrushes and can perform higher jumps, while Stimpy spits and can smash certain objects by jumping over them. Progress is made by moving through stages, defeating enemies, avoiding traps, and using each character’s strengths to clear different obstacles. Each character has three lives.
Ren Hoek
Playable character with high jumps and toothbrush-based attacks.
Stimpy
Playable character who spits as an attack and can smash some obstacles by jumping over them.
Shaven Yak
The quest’s central figure whose missing hooves must be returned.
Choose Ren for vertical sections and Stimpy when the stage includes breakable obstacles. Keep moving carefully, as many hazards can punish reckless jumps. Attack from safe distances when possible, and use each character’s movement to cover their weak spots. Conserving lives matters because each character starts with only three.
Tips
Ren’s high jump is useful for reaching ledges and avoiding ground hazards.
Tips
Stimpy is the better pick when the stage asks for destruction of obstacles.
Tips
Learn enemy patterns before rushing forward to reduce unnecessary damage.
