Oriental Legend

The game uses side-scrolling stage progression with single-player and cooperative multiplayer support. Players pick one of several heroes, then fight through waves of enemies using normal attacks, jumps, throws, and magic spells. Weapons, healing items, and power-ups can be collected along the way. Some stages include route variations and hidden elements, while bosses mark the end of each area. Character speed, range, and spell efficiency vary noticeably.

Learn each character's basic combo routes, knockdown follow-ups, and spell timing before committing to harder routes. In co-op, one player should control crowds while another focuses on damage. Save magic for emergencies, boss pressure, or dense enemy groups rather than spending it immediately. Against grab-heavy enemies, avoid overcommitting and use movement to create safe openings. Stock up on recovery items whenever possible for later stages.
