Knights of Valour 2

The game uses a side-scrolling beat 'em up format. Players move through stages, attack with basic strikes, jump attacks, charge-style techniques, and special moves while clearing mobs and defeating stage bosses. Each warrior has different reach, speed, and skill properties, which changes how fights are approached. Weapons, recovery items, and other pickups appear throughout stages, and the RPG-like progression system lets characters grow stronger as the adventure continues. Cooperative play is supported.

Learn each character's reach and recovery first, then use the safer long-range options to handle crowded areas. Focus on enemy archers and throwers before engaging frontline troops. Save special attacks for emergencies or to interrupt dangerous boss patterns. In co-op, spread out to avoid being clipped by wide-area attacks and coordinate target priority.

Tips and tricks

• Pick up weapons and stage items whenever possible, as they greatly reduce early pressure.
• Most bosses telegraph dangerous attacks clearly, so punish the recovery window instead of trading hits.
• Put growth items on your main character first to make progression smoother.
