The game uses side-scrolling run-and-gun gameplay with single-player control. You move forward, fire your main weapon, throw explosives, and dodge enemy bullets and traps while pushing through each stage. Weapon parts appear throughout the levels; collecting the required pieces assembles the Heavy Barrel super-weapon and greatly boosts offensive power. Stages mix infantry, turrets, vehicles, and boss fights, so success depends on balancing movement, targeting, and item collection.
