Each game follows standard baseball innings. While batting, the player watches the pitcher, swings at incoming pitches, can attempt a bunt, and sends runners around the bases after contact. While pitching, the player selects a pitch and aims it across the strike zone before the batter reacts. Fielding switches control to the relevant defender after a hit. The objective is to score more runs than the opposing team by combining safe contact, baserunning decisions, pitching changes, and outs. Progression is game-based rather than character-level: success comes from winning the current contest, not from gaining experience or unlocking equipment.

Strategy
Use pitch placement to change the batter's timing instead of repeatedly throwing to the same part of the strike zone. At bat, wait for a pitch that can be driven into open space; a premature swing often produces an easy out. Watch runners before committing to a steal or extra base. In the field, move the selected defender toward the ball immediately, then prioritize the force out that prevents the most dangerous advance.

Tips
Treat a bunt as a situational play: it is most useful when advancing a runner matters more than hitting for power.
Keep defensive attention on the lead runner after a ball is put in play.
