Dynasty Wars

The game uses a side-scrolling stage structure where the player advances through enemy lines and fights continuous waves of foot soldiers and bosses. Core actions include normal attacks, charge moves, jumping, and evasive repositioning. Some stages allow mounted combat, adding speed and wider attack arcs. Weapons and items appear on the battlefield, and using them at the right moment is important for crowd control. Progress is stage-based, and later areas increase enemy density and boss pressure.

Try to thin out nearby soldiers first so you do not get surrounded. When mounted, use short rushes to break formations rather than holding forward the whole time. Save charge or special attacks for emergencies or dense enemy packs. Pick up weapons when enemies cluster to get better value from them. Against bosses, keep moving laterally and punish recovery windows instead of trading hits.
