Captain Commando

The game uses side-scrolling stages where players fight through groups of enemies and bosses. You can choose Captain Commando, Mack, Ginzu, or Baby Head, each with different reach, speed, and attack style. Players use standard attacks, jumps, throws, and a health-consuming special move for crowd control. Weapons such as guns and knives can be picked up, and some sections let players ride mechanized units for extra firepower. Progress comes from clearing each stage and defeating its boss.

Use weapons and rideable machines whenever possible, especially before boss fights, to reduce risk and preserve health.
