Black Belt

The game is a single-player, stage-based side-scrolling action title. Riki moves through streets, caverns, and enemy strongholds, using punches, kicks, jumps, and special martial arts attacks to defeat regular foes and stage bosses. Combat relies on spacing, timing, and quick reactions, since different enemies attack from varying ranges and can overwhelm the player if ignored. Progress is linear: clear all five stages and defeat each boss to advance.

Stay at mid-range when possible and use jumping attacks or quick combos to interrupt enemy advances. In boss fights, avoid overcommitting; wait for an opening, then strike and retreat. Prioritize ranged or flying enemies first, since they can force you into bad positions. Keep moving and do not let enemies surround you.
