The game uses a side-scrolling perspective where players fight through waves of enemies, jump across hazardous terrain, and survive sudden vehicle and chase sequences. Core actions include attacking, jumping, jumping attacks, and throws, with timing and spacing mattering more than button mashing. Progress is stage-based, and deaths usually send you back to a checkpoint or the beginning of the section, making pattern learning essential.

Learn each stage’s hazard layout and enemy patterns before pushing for speed. In crowded fights, jumping attacks and throws are often safer than standing still and trading hits. Vehicle stages are mostly about memorizing the route and obstacle timing. In co-op, keep your spacing clear so one player’s knockback does not create a trap for the other.
