Air Management II: Aim to Become the King of the Skies

The game uses a world-map and menu-based perspective. You create an airline, select a base, open international routes, buy aircraft, and adjust operations while competing against other carriers. Each turn requires decisions about destinations, fleet capacity, fares, and the funds available for further expansion. Scenarios are structured around growing the airline and meeting the selected objective before rivals or financial problems halt the operation. Aircraft choices affect the practical reach and capacity of a route, while a larger network creates more opportunities and more expenses. The SNES version supports management play on one console; the supplied version's exact multiplayer arrangement is not documented here.

Begin with routes that can be served profitably by the aircraft already available instead of spending the opening budget on an oversized fleet. Connect the base to destinations that can support follow-up routes, because a coherent network is easier to expand than a collection of isolated flights. Review cash after every purchase and route decision. Keep enough capital for operating costs and avoid expanding into several long routes at once unless their demand and aircraft requirements are clear. When rivals compete for the same destinations, compare expected capacity and cost rather than adding a route only for map coverage.
