X-Men

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective and lets players choose from Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Kitty Pryde. Each character has different reach, speed, and special attacks. Core actions include movement, jumping, attacking, and using a health-draining mutant power. Players advance through enemy-filled stages, defeat bosses, and rely heavily on positioning and teamwork in co-op sessions.

In multiplayer, let close-range characters control the front while ranged or wide-swing fighters manage crowds. Special attacks cost health, so save them for emergencies, enemy swarms, or dangerous boss phases. Against jumping or armed enemies, move along the vertical plane to avoid lining up with attacks. During boss fights, wait for recovery windows instead of constantly rushing in.

• Learn each character's reach and speed before committing to a favorite.
• Use jumps or mutant powers to escape when surrounded.
• In co-op, spread out instead of stacking on one attack line.
