Worms Armageddon

The game uses a 2D side-view, turn-based battle system. On each turn, you control one worm, moving, jumping, climbing, and firing weapons or utilities. Terrain can be destroyed by explosions and special attacks, so cover, elevation, and craters constantly change the battlefield. Success depends on managing worm health and the turn timer while judging wind, aiming angles, and projectile power. Matches can be played against AI or in multiplayer, with victory usually earned by eliminating the opposing team or scoring the most damage.

Keep your worms spread out to avoid losing multiple units to one explosion. Learn wind compensation and weapon arcs early, especially for grenades, bazookas, and airstrikes. Use terrain collapse to expose enemies or trap them in bad positions, and save mobility tools for reaching high ground or escaping danger.

Tips and tricks

• Reserve high-damage weapons for clustered or weakened enemies.
• Use wind to adjust grenade and rocket trajectories.
• Bridges, cliffs, and narrow ledges are ideal places to force mistakes.
