Vendetta

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective where players choose one of four fighters and clear stages by defeating waves of enemies. Combat includes punch combos, grabs, throws, jump attacks, and ground follow-ups. Weapons such as pipes and knives can be picked up, and some stage elements can be used to increase damage. Progression is linear through multiple stages with regular enemy groups, stronger elites, and boss battles, all managed through a life-and-continue system typical of arcade games.

Hawk

A power-focused character who deals heavy damage and excels with grappling attacks.

A faster, more agile fighter suited to quick approach and repositioning.

Learn grab timing early, since throws and ground follow-ups are often safer and stronger than mashing basic attacks. When surrounded, move to one side and funnel enemies instead of fighting in the middle. Save weapons for tougher enemies and bosses whenever possible. In boss fights, watch for startup animations, evade first, then punish rather than trading hits. In co-op, avoid stacking on the same line so both players can control space more effectively.
