Ultra X Weapons

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective across 6 stages filled with enemy waves and large bosses. Players move, jump, and fire while switching weapon forms suited to crowd control, tight spaces, or concentrated boss damage. Two-player co-op is supported, making positioning and shared screen control important. Progress is stage-based, with continued play typically relying on credits after defeat.

The player-controlled commandos equipped with transforming weapons and deployed against the alien invasion.

Learn the strengths of each weapon form early. Use wider coverage options to handle enemy swarms, and switch to stronger focused fire for durable foes and bosses. In co-op, avoid overlapping positions so both players are not trapped by the same attack pattern. Advance carefully, clearing side and rear threats before pushing forward. During boss fights, watch for repeated attack cycles and save room to dodge with jumps and lateral movement.

Tips and tricks

• Memorizing enemy spawn points makes later runs much safer.
• Do not switch weapons constantly; mastering a couple of forms is usually more effective.
• In co-op, split duties between crowd control and boss pressure for smoother clears.
