ToeJam & Earl

The game uses a top-down perspective with randomly generated maps, item locations, and events. Players explore each floor to find spaceship pieces, open present boxes for helpful or harmful effects, and use elevators and portals to advance. ToeJam and Earl can act independently or support each other in co-op play, with progress centered on careful route planning, item management, and surviving quirky enemies.

ToeJam

One half of the alien duo, focused on exploring the random maps and collecting useful items while avoiding danger.

Earl

The other half of the duo, working with ToeJam to recover the ship parts and handle the strange threats on Earth.

Learn the layout as you go and keep track of safe routes back to elevators or portals. Be cautious when opening presents, especially near hazards or tight spaces. Save escape and recovery items for emergencies, and prioritize clearing enemies that block progress before hunting for ship parts.
