Time Crisis

The game uses a fixed first-person shooting perspective with light gun aiming and a foot pedal that switches between cover and exposure. Levels are linear and built around waves of enemies, ambushes, and boss fights. Taking hits costs lives, and completing stages depends on quick target prioritization, accurate shots, and knowing when to duck behind cover. The pace is arcade-like, with constant pressure to react fast and survive each encounter.

Learn enemy spawn patterns and pre-aim at common pop-up locations. Use the pedal in short bursts rather than holding it down constantly, and step out only when you have a clear shot. When multiple enemies appear, eliminate the closest or fastest-shooting threats first. In boss fights, watch for telegraphed attacks and focus on surviving the pattern before maximizing damage.
