Tales of Destiny

The game alternates between town and field exploration, dungeon crawling, and real-time side-view battles. In combat, characters move along a 2D line, using normal attacks, artes, spells, and items while chaining hits and managing spacing. Progression comes from experience, equipment upgrades, new skills, and story advancement that opens additional regions and dungeons. Party members fight under player control or AI commands, making positioning and timing important throughout.

Keep the party balanced so you do not rely on one damage dealer too heavily. In battles, try to line enemies up and use the linear combat system to focus targets efficiently. Save healing items for longer dungeon runs, and check elemental resistances before boss fights. Interrupt spellcasters when possible, and use openings after enemy attacks to extend combos safely.
