The game uses a side-scrolling perspective with jump-and-attack platforming. Players move through stages by leaping across gaps, avoiding hazards, and fighting robots and other enemies with Spider-Man’s basic attacks and web-related abilities. Progress is stage-based, with boss fights punctuating the flow and requiring pattern recognition and careful spacing. Item use and movement timing matter, especially in sections with narrow platforms or heavy enemy pressure.

The playable hero, relying on agility, jumping, and web-based attacks to defeat enemies.

Smythe

One of the main villains behind the Spider-Slayer machines.

Kingpin

A major criminal mastermind allied with Smythe in the story.

Learn jump distances early and avoid rushing in cramped platform sections. Against mechanical enemies, keep spacing and clear threats that block your route first. In boss encounters, watch attack tells, stay patient, and only commit when there is a safe opening.
