Sonic CD

Players control Sonic through side-scrolling stages focused on speed, jumps, spin attacks, and momentum-based movement. Each zone has multiple acts and a time-travel feature that changes layouts, hazards, and enemy placement across Past, Present, and Future versions. By interacting with time posts and collecting Time Stones, players can alter the future and affect the ending.

Use ramps, springs, and long straight sections to build momentum and reach key time posts. If you want a better future in a zone, go to the Past first and destroy the machine or source that creates problems in the present. Time Stones matter more than speed alone if you are aiming for the best ending, so plan routes around them when possible.
