The game uses a side-view one-on-one match format focused on striking, grappling, throws, rope rebounds, and finishers. Each wrestler has different speed, power, and move properties, so spacing and matchup knowledge matter. Winning is not just about draining health, but also capitalizing on knockdowns and pin opportunities. Special match conditions such as cage bouts add extra positional pressure and variety.

Against fast characters, control mid-range and interrupt approaches with safe attacks or counter-grabs. With power wrestlers, push opponents toward corners or ropes where high-damage throws become more threatening. In special arenas like cage matches, positioning is even more important than raw aggression.
